During this period, I had the opportunity to work very closely with Mr. Villavicencio. His hard work, commitment and leadership abilities were key factors in the survival and expansion of the Ecuadorian American Chamber, all this at a time in which Ecuador was going through its worst economic and political crisis of its republican history.
With Raul's leadership, the Chamber was able to bring formidable speakers, increase membership and consolidated its position as the most important non-profit Ecuadorian organization in Florida.
